Doughnuts from Costco and Upcoming Plans
Costco's a wonderful place, ain't it?
The last time I was there I was casually browsing the baked goods section, thinking about my dreams of being a grocery store cake decorator and trying to convince myself that I didn't need cinnamon bread or a breakfast pastry ring, when I happened upon something wonderful. And terrible. For my sugar intake, that is...
These wonderful amazing glazed sour cream doughnuts. Oh. My. Goodness. And let me tell you, they are as good as they look. Maybe even better.
I just wish they were in a package of 10ish instead of a package of 30ish. Then they'd be totally perfect. Totes perfecto, if you will.
And you know what else was totes perfecto? The red velvet whoopie pies I talked about in my last post!
They were chewy and delicious and just sweet enough and made from a cake mix! How great is that?
Okay, that seems like enough oogling for one blog post. On to the second part of the title: Upcoming plans!
As some of you may know, I spend a lot of down time browsing the internet. And some of that time is used for looking for and drooling over recipes!
I found this recipe for raspberry lemon cheesecake bars from The Baker Chick. They look absolutely amazing I have to make them. This instant.
Well, maybe not this exact instant, but hopefully this month. I'm gonna try real hard to make them before February leaves us, but if not now then I'll make them before St Patty's day. And that's a loose suggestion!
There you have it, folks. My plans for the end of Winter 2014. Eating doughnuts and making cheesecake. Sound's good to me!
